Meeting was called to order at
7:30 pm by Supervisor Slucter with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Present: Slucter, Myers, Rumsey,
Fritts, Piper, Pray and Fabijancic
Absent: None
Piper moved and Fabijancic
seconded to approve the agenda as written. Carried: 7-0.
Piper moved and Fritts seconded
to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as written. Carried: 7-0.
REPORTS:
Sherriff’s Report: None
Planning Commission: None
Sewer Board: Meeting was cancelled due to lack of business.
Emergency Services Department: 1) As
part of the Eaton County Tanker Task Force, responded to a Delta Township
request in Watertown Township and assisted Benton Township Fire on a fully
involved structure fire on Windsor Hwy.
2) The MPSCS 800 Radios are now
installed in all of our apparatus and in the dispatch office. An antenna on the
tower on the roof still needs to be installed.
3) For the Prevention division, out in the field doing a few initial and
several follow up inspections.
Assessor: Assessment notices have been sent out. Board of Review is scheduled for Monday, March
9th from 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm and Thursday, March 12th from 9:00 am –
3:00 pm.
Library: 1) There is 86 people registered in the Adult
Reading Program. 2) Attendance at the
last four events totaled 99 people. 3)
Currently planning for the Summer Reading Program.
Supervisor Report: Been working on complaints for property
neglect or abuse.
Public Officials: Matt Bowen, Eaton County Commissioner announced that a resolution was approved that the Eaton County Board of Commissioners supports the constitutional right of the people to keep and bear arms and opposes any illegal seizure of firearms.

BUSINESS:
Matt Jankoviak updated the Board on the 9995 Billwood House: Gable ends are boarded, small back roof is framed and truss repair will be completed shortly. Siding, soffit and windows are on schedule.
Slucter offered and Myers supported the final adoption to the Zoning
Amendment Ordinance No. 47; An Ordinance to amend the Windsor Charter Township
Zoning Ordinance, as amended, to
provide for the zoning regulation of Adult Use Marihuana Establishments; and
designate such Establishments and Operations as special uses; in order to
maintain the public health, safety and welfare of the residents and visitors to
Windsor Charter Township.
Ayes: Fabijancic, Pray, Fritts, Slucter, Rumsey,
Piper and Myers
Nays: None
Zoning Amendment
Ordinance No. 47 Adopted: 7-0.
Discussion was held on the Inter-Local
Agreement for Local Police Services.
Clarification was received on the Computation x 15% amount included in
the agreement, being administrative cost (including supervision), training,
unforeseen overtime cost, etc. Pray moved and Piper seconded to approve
the 2020 Inter-Local Agreement for Local Police Services and authorize
Supervisor Slucter to sign agreement.
Carried: 7-0.
