PUBLIC HEARING – MDAJ HOLDINGS SPECIAL USE PERMIT AND REGULAR MEETING DECEMBER 8, 2021 – MEETING ROOM

The regular meeting of the Windsor Charter Township Planning Commission was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairperson Holtz.

Also Present: Planning Consultant Pete Preston, Asst Chief Fabijancic and Clerk Rumsey
Holtz
moved and Johnson seconded to amend the agenda, moving the Public Hearing for
MSG’s Lansing Rd Parcel rezoning request before the Public Hearing for MDAJ
Holdings Special Use Permit. Carried 7-0. Bowen moved and Fabijancic seconded to
approve the agenda as amended. Carried

Bowen
moved and Johnson seconded to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as
written. Carried 7-0.
The
Public Hearing for Change of Zoning request for Parcel 080-017-100-175-00 on
Lansing Road was called to order by Chairperson Holtz at 7:02 pm.
With
no comments or questions from the public, Chairperson Holtz closed the public
hearing for Change of Zoning request on 5091 Lansing Road at 7:03 pm.
The
Public Hearing for MDAJ Holdings Special Use Permit was called to order by
Chairperson Holtz at 7:03 pm.
With
no comments or questions from the public, Chairperson Holtz closed the public
hearing for MDAJ Holdings Special Use Permit at 7:04 pm.

An annual review was conducted on Unitech Laboratories of Michigan,
Inc Special Use Permit. Holtz moved and Johnson seconded to approve
renewal of Unitech Laboratories of Michigan, Inc Special Use Permit for another
year, as they have met requirements. New
expiration date 12-10-2022.

An annual review was conducted on Creyts Road Exchange Co Special Use
Permit. Holtz moved and Bowen seconded to approve renewal of Creyts Road
Exchange Co Special Use Permit for another year, as they have met
requirements. New expiration date 12-29-2022.

Fabijancic seconded to set a Public Hearing, during regular Planning Commission
meeting on January 12, 2022, for a Change of Zoning request on 6 parcels
(080-014-100-105-00, 110-00, 115-00, 120-00, 125-00 & 130-00) along
Dimondale Hwy, from A-1 to R-1C. Carried
7-0.
Unfinished Business:
Bowen moved and Sabourin seconded to
postpone a decision on MDAJ Special Use Permit, until the next Planning
Commission meeting on January 12, 2022, giving time for a representative to be
present to answer questions. Carried

Pray moved and Holtz seconded to recommend
for the Board of Trustees to approve the petition to amend the zoning from A-1
(Agricultural) to M-1 (Industrial) for Lansing Road Parcel No. 080-017-100-175-00
as its consistent with the area and in accordance with the master plan.
