SPECIAL MEETING NOVEMBER 10, 2022

Supervisor Slucter called to order the Special Meeting to consider request from Planning Commission to approve Canines for Change Special Use Permit at 7:00 pm.

Present: Slucter, Rumsey, Fritts, Pray and Pisano

Absent: Myers and Piper

Pray moved and Fritts seconded to approve agenda as written. Carried 5-0.

Hear Public Present for Agenda Items: None

The information submitted for the Canines for Change Special Use Permit was reviewed. The consensus of the board was the facility would be a benefit to our community. The facility being under 24 hour care was discussed. Rumsey moved and Pisano supported to accept the Planning Commission recommendation and approve the Special Use Permit based on the reasoning and conditions stated in the Planning Commission’s minutes dated November 2, 2022 and to change the Special Use Permit term to run continuous with Canines for Change ownership subject to compliance reviews by zoning administrator.

Nays: None

Absent: Myers and Piper

Motion Carried: 5-0-2

With no further business, Supervisor Slucter adjourned the Special Meeting at 7:10 pm.
