WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

REGULAR MEETING

 AUGUST 9, 2023 – MEETING ROOM

The regular meeting of the Windsor Charter Township Planning Commission was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairperson Holtz.

 

Present: Holtz, Johnson, Pray, Fabijancic, Bowen and Barnhart-Smith

Absent: Sabourin

Also Present:  Asst Chief Fabijancic and Clerk Rumsey

 

Pray moved and Fabijancic seconded to approve the agenda as written.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Johnson moved and Bowen seconded to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as written.  Motion carried unanimously.

 

Reports:

      Township Board:  Extended AT&T’s METRO Act Right of Way Permit, Approved a Resolution for an Amendment to the REU Table for Bars/Restaurant, Crown Castle gave a presentation on wireless infrastructure and received an update on status of Harvest Park Road.

 

      Board of Appeals:  Meeting tomorrow night on a variance for 9456 E Vermontville Hwy.

 

      Board of Review:  None

 

      Reports & Announcements:  None

New Business:

Motion by Holtz and supported by Johnson to set Public Hearing for a Special Use Permit request, at the next regular Planning Commission meeting, on September 13, 2023, starting at 7:00 PM, for a Marijuana facility located at 5091 Lansing Rd.  Motion carried unanimously.
