SPECIAL MEETING OCTOBER 30, 2023

Supervisor Slucter called to order the Special Meeting at 4:30 pm for an Amendment to the Group Pension Plan.

Present: Slucter, Rumsey, Fritts, Myers, Piper and Pray

Absent: Pisano

Myers moved and Piper seconded to approve the agenda as written. Carried unanimously.

Group Pension Plan Resolution – Amendment for Library:

The Library board has requested a change in the Township’s Group Pension Plan. The change will only affect Library employees. A resolution amending the Group Pension Plan is needed in order to move forward with the changes. Clerk Rumsey moved and Treasurer Fritts seconded to amend the 401 (a) Plan, effective November 1, 2023, as follows:

Change Class 2 to: All Full Time Librarians

Change Class 2 Contribution Formula to: Employer Contribution 4%, Employee

Mandatory Before Tax Contribution 4%

Remove the 6-month minimum service requirement for Class 2

Roll Call Vote:

Yeas: Myers, Piper, Rumsey, Slucter, Fritts and Pray

Nays: None

Absent: Pisano

Resolution unanimously adopted.

With no further business, Supervisor Slucter adjourned the Special Meeting at 4:34 pm.
