WINDSOR CHARTER TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION
REGULAR MEETING
JANUARY 10, 2024 – MEETING ROOM

The regular meeting of the Windsor Charter Township Planning Commission was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairperson Holtz.
Present: Holtz, Johnson, Pray, Sabourin, Fabijancic, Bowen and Barnhart-Smith
Absent: None
Also Present: Asst Chief Fabijancic and Clerk Rumsey
Johnson moved and Barnhart-Smith seconded to
approve the agenda as written. Motion
carried unanimously.
Johnson moved and seconded to approve the
minutes of the previous meeting as written. Motion carried unanimously.
Reports:
Township Board: 1) Adopted Construction Code Ordinance. 2) Approved the Special Use Permit for a storage unit facility applied for by Midwest X, LLC. 3) Approved drinking water system resolution for mobile home park. 4) Approved the extension of the Metro-Act Permit for ACD.
Board of Appeals: None
Board of Review: Members will be attending training on February 1st.
Reports & Announcements: Matt Bowen announced for 2023, the Old Newsboy sales drive collected $200,193 and they so far have 6300 request for shoes, boots and/or socks.

New Business:
Bowen moved and Fabijancic seconded to retain the current officers for
another year. Motion carried unanimously.
A review was conducted of the Special Use Permit at 5855 N. Michigan Road
applied for by HTA Companies. It was
noted that HTA Companies sold the business and it has been renamed DJ’s
Landscape Management. Holtz moved and Johnson seconded to renew
the Special Use Permit at 5855 N. Michigan Road, as they are
in compliance at this time, and change the name on the permit to DJ’s
Landscape Management.
