PUBLIC HEARING – 5065 Lansing Road

AND REGULAR MEETING

APPROVED MINUTES

Chairperson Holtz called the regular meeting of the Windsor Charter Township Planning Commission to order at 7:00 p.m.

Present: Holtz, Johnson, Sabourin, Smith, Bowen, and Pisano

Absent: Pray

Also Present: Asst Chief Fabijancic and Clerk Barnhart-Smith

Motion by Holtz, seconded by Pisano, to amend the agenda heading to correct the property address, to read “PUBLIC HEARING – 5065 Lansing Road.” Motion carried unanimously.

Johnson moved, and Pisano seconded to approve the agenda as corrected. Motion carried unanimously

Holtz moved, and Johnson seconded to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as written. Motion carried unanimously.

Chairperson Holtz called to order a public hearing for 5065 Lansing Road regarding an amendment to the Comprehensive Development Plan/Rezoning Request.

Walter Flinsk, serving as managing partner for Premier Meds, spoke on behalf of the company and explained the property's history and its acquisition nearly 6 years ago.

Chairperson Holtz called for public questions. Austin Robison of 9453 Billwood Highway raised concerns about spot changes vs. broader corridor consistency and the potential impact on adjacent houses/businesses, and asked for clarification.

With no more comments or questions from the public, Chairperson Holtz closed the public hearing for 5065 Lansing Road regarding an amendment to the Comprehensive Development Plan/Rezoning Request. 7:06 pm.

Bowen made a motion and Sabourin seconded to amend the Comprehensive Plan to A1 Zoning for 5065 Lansing Road. Motion carried unanimously.
