REGULAR MEETING

The regular meeting of the Windsor Charter Township Planning Commission was called to order at 7:00 pm by Chairperson Holtz.
Present: Holtz, Johnson, Pray, and Pisano
Absent: Fabijancic, Bowen, and Sabourin
Also Present: Asst Chief Fabijancic and Clerk Barnhart-Smith

moved, and Pisano seconded to approve the agenda as written. Motion carried unanimously.
Johnson
moved, and Pisano seconded to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as
written. Motion carried unanimously.
Reports:
Township Board: The Board approved a Metro act, updated the Fee Schedule, and is doing another sealed bid for the landlocked property on Pinch Hwy.

A
discussion was held on Guinea Road Storage regarding the Special Use Permit
application 6690 Guinea Road. Motion by Pray and seconded by Johnson to
recommend to the Township Board the approval of the Special Use Permit
application for the Guinea Road Storage located at 6690 Guinea Road, Charlotte,
MI 48813, for a 3,600-sf
mini-storage and outdoor storage. Property, as legally described in Section 9
of Windsor Charter Township (Parcel Tax ID#: 080-009-100-090-00), based on the
following reasoning: 1) Subject to the conditions provided below, it is found
that the petitioned Final Site Plan meets the general standards and
requirements as provided for under Section 6.8 and other applicable sections of
the Ordinance. 2. Additional reasoning as presented by the Planning Commission.
Conditions: 3. Compliance with the Ordinance concerning the occupancy of
recreational or camper vehicles on-site, and those recreational vehicles stored
on the parcel are not permitted to be occupied or used as living quarters. 4.
Overnight tractor-trailer and other commercial truck parking is permitted for
trucks and trailers only; no persons shall remain in the vehicle overnight. 5.
The mini-storage facility is separate from the existing structures, including
the residential structure and two accessory structures to the north of the
mini-storage facility. The special use permit is only for the outdoor storage
and the mini-storage. 6. Use of the residential structure is for caretaker
quarters only, and the two (2) accessory structures shall require separate
appropriate zoning and building permits to be obtained. Motion Carried.
