• ONLINE PAYMENTS NOW AVAILABLE: You can now pay your property taxes through our online portal. Click on the link below and follow the prompts to make a payment.
A convenience fee of 2.8% or a minimum of $1.50 for Credit/Debit cards transactions, will be added to your payment by a 3rd party for processing. If you access BS&A Online through a general search or another link (such as Eaton County), make sure you’re viewing Windsor Charter Township. You cannot pay current taxes through the Eaton County site.
MORTGAGE/ESCROW AGENTS: If your mortgage/escrow company requests a copy of your tax bill, one will be sent to them.
PROPERTY OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To make sure the tax bill gets paid regardless of whether you have a mortgage company pay the bill or not. We attempt to mail all property owners a copy of their tax bill. Failure to receive a tax bill does not waive the interest and penalty.
• Paying the correct parcel of property rests with the taxpayer. The treasurer will not be responsible for payment on wrong descriptions. The sum stated is for taxes assessed upon the described property for the year stated on the front of the bill.
• Have you moved? If there are ANY changes in description, address, or ownership, it is the property owner’s responsibility to notify the township assessor (517-919-1566 or windsorassessor@gmail.com) and Equalization & Property Description Department, 1045 Independence Blvd., Charlotte MI 48813 (517-543-4104).
